Our state-of-the-art, 20,500 SF UL approved Power Solutions Center (PSC) offers in-house engineering and manufacturing for a complete range of power and thermal value-added services – all with faster time to market and higher reliability than a typical custom build. At our 18,000 SF Battery Solutions Center (BSC), we specialize in the production of custom battery assembled and complex battery management systems (BMS).

At Sager Power Systems we specialize in utilizing existing AC/DC power supplies and DC/DC converters for integration into custom power subsystems. Sager Power Systems is a certified value-added reseller (VAR) for Artesyn, Excelsys, MEAN WELL and Vox, offering customers quick-turn quotes, prototypes and production with typical shipments up to 10 pieces in 5 days. Sager carries an extensive inventory with customized stocking programs for OEMs.
In addition to our modular capabilities, Sager Power Systems offers a range of other value-add services including power subsystems, power boards, simple modifications including DIN rail assemblies, and external power supply modifications.
Battery and Chargers
At our BSC, Sager Power Systems package cells based on a multitude of chemistries including Lithium Ion, Pure Lead, Lithium Primary, Nickel Metal Hydride and Nickel Cadmium. Battery design features 3D-modeling, cell balancing and fuel gauging (SMBus, I2C, HDC, CANBus), primary safety circuits and battery ID. Additionally, designs include enhanced safety features such as built-in redundancy, auto temperature cut-off, resettable fuses and thermistors.
Thermal management value-add services are available through our PSC or may also be sourced in conjunction with our suppliers. Electronic design software is used for analysis and validation to deliver recommended thermal solutions within short time frames. Value-add solutions include but are not limited to connectorization, cable length changing, mechanical engineering, control circuitry, integrated sub-assemblies, bonding and CNC milling.
